- Measure from (A) at the center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to (B) at the center of the tail using a soft measuring tape.
- When you have the measurement, remove 4 inches (10 cm) and choose your horse’s size from the table below. Bear in mind that every horse is different and that this table is a guide only. We have many different styles to suit all shapes and sizes.

The most often question our customer service representatives are asked is what size blanket to purchase for a certain height horse. Because horses’ forms vary so significantly, measuring is crucial. The length of the back, breadth of the shoulders, and size of the hindquarters may all have a significant impact on the blanket size required by a horse. To emphasize, this is a very broad recommendation, therefore please measure (twice) to acquire the optimal blanket size for your horse.
